EducationCurrently completing Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Loma Linda University (Expected June 2016)
M.A. in Psychology at Loma Linda University
B.A. in General Psychology and Minor in Business Administration at Point Loma Nazarene University
ExperienceI tutored statistics, accounting, philosophy, and psychology as an undergraduate at Point Loma Nazarene University from 2007-2009.
I have tutored statistics, psychology, research methods, and psychometrics since 2010 as a graduate student at Loma Linda University.
I have excelled in multiple statistics courses (ANOVA and nonparametric, Regression, Multivariate, and SEM), in a research methods course, and in my other psychology graduate work. My other relevant experience has included work as a research assistant and research project coordinator since 2009, which has included management of large databases, use of Excel, SPSS, and SQL, and manuscript writing for peer review journal submission. Also, I have written a grant for seed money to fund my thesis project for my M.A.
I want to continue tutoring because I want the teaching experience towards my goal of working as a university professor.
HobbiesAlthough I enjoy academics and am pursuing a long-term career as a university faculty member, I also enjoy my down-time. I write poetry, cook gourmet meals, run, and keep a small garden.

Kevin is extremely knowledgeable in statistics (and beyond) and is able to break down complex material in a manner that helps you conceptualize and apply the newly learned information. I highly recommend him whether you are just starting out with statistics or taking advanced statistics courses.
